Reward is the full suit of epic armor(6 peice set) Rhodri gives it to you. And a jewel(didn't really notice stats, I have the envenome jem so I didn't care) I was just happy some of the guys got stuff for helping me:) Elyll hammer level 50 (for cleric, has small light effects to it) A level 50 cloak +15 dex and 3 8% resists(cleric wanted that too). In killing all the Elylls that came down we got 3 nice random drops. The secret here is again to be up in the tree house where none of the Elyll Hunters and seers can get you, have the minstrel or sorcerer send a pet at the lord from up at the ruins, then the minst/sorc runs back to the tree houses asap with the cleric healing him on the way, and have the wiz aoe them all to death when they get down there. The only reason it took that long even was the fact that the lord wouldn't chase us. Not bad at all, 5 of us: 50 wiz, 50 sorc, 50 enhance cleric, 50 minstrel, and me 50 infilrator completed the epic 50 in about 30 minutes. This was sent to me in e-mail but the sender did say he copied it from a message board. You need more people for this one though unless you have some pretty powerful casters with you, including a couple high mind spec Sorcs (of which there are none anymore) After this point, the killing strategy is much the same as above. Just clear enough of the ruins out to get a scout in to pull the Lord and voila. The other way to do it is full frontal assault. In fact, when I finally got mine, i was sitting off in the boonies and let the others kill it for me because I kept getting owned.
I died (see suggestion on clerics above). The other group ended up getting the kill on the Lord by AE, etc. We spent a couple hours doing mine because of two things: 1. Above all else, make sure the main group gets on the Lord ALONE. Have one group take down adds (there will be guards, possibly a couple seers and some windchasers). Then the scout needs to sprint back to the 2 groups. Have a scout go to the E of the ruins on the hill and target the Lord. The most common is to have 2 groups camp N of the Ellyll ruins.
Make sure the main group has at least 2 rejuv clerics and keep the main character alive (I died several times trying to get mine)
